I love capturing the details of a wedding day, the little things that make the day so unique and special for each wedding couple. I’ve always liked the idea of a more non-traditional outdoor wedding, with relaxed seating & wanted to showcase how this can be created for brides and grooms with a similar love for intimate weddings.
With current circumstances, I really wanted to stay creative and connect with other businesses within the wedding industry. I felt it was a great time to focus on all of the little details that go in to making your wedding day special.I found a stationer who uses plantable seeded paper and fell in love with her delicate floral designs. The concept of being able to plant your wedding stationery is wonderful, both eco friendly and a lovely memory to have watching the seeds bloom after your wedding day. To be able to have beautiful stationery & beautiful flowers to enjoy as a reminder of your special day, to me, is a no brainer! This got me planning an elegant summer wedding theme, filled with gorgeous seasonal florals.
The gardens I chose are filled with beautiful greenery and stone walls, which was the perfect backdrop for a summery theme with a vintage touch. Excerpt from English Wedding (see article for full suppliers list).
